SnapStarts collects information you provide directly: your name, email address, and project content when you create an account or build a newsletter. We also collect usage data including how you interact with the platform, your dashboard activity, and email engagement metrics for projects you manage.
When subscribers sign up for your newsletter, their email addresses are stored in our system to enable daily email delivery. You control the content sent to your subscribers.
We use your information to: operate and improve the SnapStarts platform; deliver your daily emails to subscribers; process payments via Stripe Connect when you monetize; send you important service and account notifications; and maintain platform security and prevent abuse.
For monetized creators, we share necessary data with Stripe to process subscription payments. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment information.
We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in and to maintain your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or track you across other websites. Anonymized, aggregated platform statistics may be used for research and improvement purposes.
We retain your account data and project content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. Subscriber email addresses are retained until the subscriber unsubscribes or their subscription ends.
SnapStarts does not store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Stripe. When you connect a Stripe account for monetization, Stripe's privacy policy and terms apply to how they handle your financial data and payout information.
SnapStarts is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@snapstarts.com for immediate deletion.
You have the right to: access your personal data at any time through your dashboard; correct inaccurate information; request deletion of your account and associated data; export your data; and opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@snapstarts.com.
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit andAES encryption for sensitive data at rest. Access to our servers is restricted to authorized personnel only. While we make reasonable efforts to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the SnapStarts platform evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email or prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of SnapStarts after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
